Our History
Shenandoah Education Foundation was founded in 1995 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.
What We Do
Supporting Public Education in Our Community
The Shenandoah Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for students in our local public schools. We support initiatives such as Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, funding for musical instrument repair and replacement, Teacher of the Year recognition, and student scholarships. Our primary fundraising efforts come from community sponsorships and attendance at our annual events.
